Good question. I never found this article when I was considering a 5th | 6th gen. Maybe it's my inexperience, maybe I'm lucky, or maybe I don't hit it as hard as the guys in the article, but I don't hear a rattle in mine on warm-up. I just went over 18K last week. I love this bike! I'm thinking of changing out the windscreen, because I do a lot of freeway riding, and the 210 Frwy has terrible head winds (seems worse on the East bound drive home though.)
