MattB, give me a shout...I live near the Short Pump Town Center. I don't do any weekday riding (other than taking off an occasional Friday here and there). I usually ride early on Sat or Sun (7 to 2) on any weekend I can. Just looking for some fellow riders as I don't really know anyone locally I can go ride with. I'd love to set up some day trips to the mountains or down into NC...I hear there are some great runs through the mountains via the Blue Ridge Parkway past the state line. Let me know the next time any of you guys have a get together...I'd love to tag along.

Did my track day again with Marrc. Worked on what everyone suggested I think I improved on somethings.

Here's a couple of video's on board my bike:

This video has a low side that happens right in front of me. Sucked cause I had the CR right behind/beside me so I didnt know where to go:

YouTube - MARRC TD Summit Point Main

here is a clip of me chasing my buddy nate around. He is on a newer gsxr 750 but basically the same. I used him to clean up some areas that need to work on. We had fun on multiply session along with a couple other riders:
    http://www.photoshop.com/?user=mckn...ecba2b2e5e08bd81a5d&wf=share&trackingid=BTAGC
In part of that video that there is a portion it which I got some open space and felt like I was rolling a pretty good little clip.

Here is a video on board of another rider. In the video, look for the rider on the white bike wearing black and red leathers. At around one minute you will see a the rider pull up to me going into turn 1. He follows me for a bit until he passes me between 9 and 10. The pass had to be only one of very few happened to be that day by riders that weren't CR's:

YouTube - Part2 MARRC TD Summit Maint 7/2/10

Thanks again for all the advise from everyone here. I hope you can see in the videos that I took the words to heart. Always room for improvement!

    Hello MSA,

Yes there are great runs all over the mountains to the west of us, and it's not even required to cross state lines although there is some really good stuff in NC. I'll be sure to give you a shout the next time that I'm headed out, but it might be a while before I can meet up with anybody for a ride. Between track days, family time/vacations, and business trips I just don't have much open on the calendar until late August at the moment. It looks like I may be out riding the mountains on July 24th but my departure point that morning will be from Pennsylvania.

    Welcome to the site.

Any chance that any of you that live near or in hampton roads have a set of new front brake pads for a 6th Gen. My pads are fine, but I'm going to a track day on thursday, and would like to have a backup pair. I've called every parts house in the area and only one dealer had a set for the rear. Thanks.

The link only shows a 4 minute ride. But in the coded link I see roads like Leeds Manor and BRP. Maybe my phone is screwing it up.

I'm riding Sunday, planning on meeting up around 6am and riding to Buena Vista near Lynchburg. Round trip is 500 glorious miles, hence the early departure to beat the heat. This will be my first attempt at a buttcrack ride and will definitely not be a habit. So, 6am somewhere with coffee that is open near the West End.

OK, somewhere on here someone mentioned wanting to know about the salvage on my bike; looks like they are supposed to be out at the dealers tomorrow, and we'll have this closed out by the end of the week. My wife will let me know what the salvage price is, and I'll post it. If whoever you were was serious, reply or PM me and I'll be happy to work it out with you. Once the deal is done with this bike though, it's gone, so speak up soon!

Hey all, diVeFR is in the area from outta town, and we're thinking of meeting up Friday night in Richmond for dinner. I'm trying to get a couple folks together from here who'd like to meet us for dinner; if you're interested, PM me and I'll get with you.

OBO = Or Best Offer. Asking 3500.00 someone offers 3550.00 another offers 4400.00. Best offer being 4400.00

OBO was the second listing, and a I didnt edit the text. But thanks for pointing that out asshat.

Your welcome. I thought I misunderstood what you meant by OBO, so I asked. Anyone reading your listing and your posting here would likely agree that you also forgot to put a dash in front of your name. I think you meant,"But thanks for pointing that out. - asshat"

btw... you could even have used you emoticon...:asshat:

Have a great day. I hope you get your asking price. looks like a nice bike.

    Bike Night

Bike night at QSL on W. Broad next to Hooters. I'll probably be there around 6pm.
