Well just want to say that it is about time I got one...on deployment for OIF and had stashed some money away...saw the it on Craigslist, messaged my wife and her and another friend of mine bought it and it is sitting in the garage. Got leave in a little bit so I will ride it then. My friend says its a sweet one, real clean.
Owned a few Hawk GTs, F3, F4 even had a RS250R for the 94-95 AMA seasons but I finally got my VFR. I remember the 1st Gen in the showrooms as a boy...anyway, hello to all and hope to hear from people about theirs. In particular, are left exit exhausts that retain passenger peg still available...

Before I say congrats on the new ride, a sincere THANK YOU for your service. Best on coming back safely. To anybody over there that gives you any B.S., give 'em plenty of :gun3:. My first road bike was a 95 - it was great. Hopefully it has a slip on - it will sound fantastic. Be sure to check out the R/R and charging system harness - lots of threads here and on vfrd that address the common issues. A good upgrade is from wiremybike.com. He's a VFR owner and knows the electrical issues on VFR's. It's cheap insurance against a dead electrical system. You've got lots of great miles ahead.

Welcome aboard! I've only been a here a short time also. I picked up a VFR on Father's Day and think I've only missed a day or two of riding due to bad weather. Have a seat, ask some questions, and enjoy.
