so Today I got to use my new helmet that my 3 year old bought for my birthday, which isn't for a few more weeks. WEll anyway I am the proud owner of an HJC CL-16 "Slayer"

at first glance it looked like my other helmet but once I tried it on the fit was a mazing.. I take a medium size with extra fluffy cheek pads.. the fit was comfortable as well as light weight. the visor is easy to control ie..flipping up and down, it also has a lock to manually lock the visor in the down position. The helmet comes with an anti fog insert.. haven't installed it yet don't know if I'll need it. the vent controls are easy enough to operate but a little funky with a gloved hand. Pretty sure this will remidy it's self with practice. the padding feels great and on the inside there appears to be little pockets for a set of ear phones... not sure if I'll put anything in there right now. Noise...thats a big thing for most people. I did notice it was quieter than my old helmet (an X-Speed) at freeway speeds (70-80 MPH) but it was a little strange having my head located for me by the air flow "wings " for the air vents.. these seem to stabilize my head enough that I almost didn't have to hold it up. as long as I stayed looking straight ahead. turn a little and the buffering was very noticable...not in a bad way but it was there. the vision is excellent the visor provides q hair over 180 degree visibility... I like the color as well and the finish on the helmet is nice as well...I paid 134.00 plus tax for it . I know i could have gotten it cheaper on line but I liked having the ability to try it on and have the guy there to answer any questions I had about it. Oh yeah it is DOT and Snell certified... IMO it is a good helmet well worth the money I spent on it..

Thanks for the review and info. My lid will be ~3yrs old next riding season so it'll be time to do some research and start looking!

It is also cool I guess I am now wearing(with the exception of my boots and gloves) all HJC gear...and it matches in color...LOL

Great review! I really wanted this one too (or the FS-15 Carbon,) but my head shape wouldn't allow it. Couldn't find the FS-15 locally, so I had to spend 2x for a Shoei RF1000 SZ: Largo. It fits me great though.
