I just got back from a family fishing trip to middle of nowhere Ontario, Canada. We went to Lake Oz, south of Pickle Lake, Ontario off Hwy 599. It's on lake east of Lake St. Joseph. The fishing was really good, better than anything I've fished in the USA. Enjoy the photos in my album:

Hey Ranger - some great shots there! I'm a bit of hardcore fisherman myself, so anytime I can see a VFR AND fishing, that's top notch to me!

How do keep your rods attached to the bike? Are they just "bungeed" on there, or have you done something to make it a little more secure? I haven't quite figured out a way that I'd trust them staying in place, and since I tend to spend several hundred bucks on each rod and reel, the last thing I want to see it do is go sliding down the highway.

    Thanks for the post!

If the rods breakdown, half then and bungee them to the back seat. My 7's don't break down, I ziptied them to the passenger peg high enough for plenty of foot room and them tied them to the bungee on top, they move a little in the wind but not enough to go anywhere. I had 4 rods and ziptied them together. Tacklebox got bungeed to the back seat. The cooler had the fish on dry ice to get them back from Canada frozen.
