Getting a feel for a Poconos ride.

I'm in Hunterdon county NJ looking to meet up with some VFR folks. If anyone has some good ideas let me know. Also, is the poconose ride still a go? Is it open to all? Thanks. Mike.

Theres ususally some sort of ride every weekend whether it be a handful of us or larger. As far as the Poconos ride in the topic... that already passed and this has just kind of become weekly ride chat / means to defame one another. Keep an eye on the thread and you'll probably see something closer to the weekend.

As for the rest of you crapheads the weather is looking kinda bleak. Its looking like the best hope is for Sunday. I'm still trying to get a handle on my weekend but i'll be keeping an eye on the weather. Let me know your thoughts as the week churns on.

.......ok who wants to ride on Sunday? Dino is installing his Power Commander and wants to see if he can keep up.

 

Maybe... If I do, I'll probably bring the LT(light truck). Should still be able to keep up with Dino. :tongue: power commander or not. Not sure about Pliskin though. :smile:

I was going with the benefit of the doubt that when he said "...not sure about Pliskin though" that he meant he wasn't sure if he could keep up with me. :biggrin: That's my story and I'm sticking to it, even if he is in his truck.

Sunday might work for me - need to check into a few things first. I'll post back later today or tonight.

As to not be antisocial... we should probably begin to start new threads weekly about our rides. we are on freakin page 12!!!

I might only be in for a short run. Have too much stuff going on and not enough hours in the day. If I go, I'll be at the welcome center by 7:00. If I ain't there by 7:10, head on out. But either way, I'll probably bail by about 10:30 or 11.

 

Wish I could join you tomorrow. With packing for vacation next week, I will be quite busy tomorrow. Have a great ride all. Will join you folks next time.

This morning, I joined a part of Ramapo 500 (Congers,NY to somewhere in PA) until one of guys in my group crashed in one of twisties in the middle of West Milford. He suffered some minor road rashes on his arms and hands. Pity those Harley riders with short sleeve shirs and vests. He lives in the next block of my house so I had to bail out and escorted him to emergency room. He is OK now. His bike suffered serious damages to gas tank and handle bar. Safe riding everyone.
