Hello all, Given the fact that I just picked up a new to me '99 VFR today, I figure I'd join the crowd and say hello. The VFR is my first sporting bike in many years, as I converted to a Harley in 2005. I owned several sport bikes before that, including my favorite, an '88 Honda Hawk GT (NT 650). Always loved the lines and motor of VFR's, and am a very happy owner. I recently moved to Seattle, so if anybody knows some nice roads to enjoy the VFR on, please let me know. Thanks, Brett
Hi Medic, welcome aboard. You are now a member of the 5th Generation Platoon. You will find lots of information here about your '99. Let's see some pics of your bike.
Welcome Medic. Are you too late to partake in this: http://vfrworld.com/forums/trips-events/28471-vfrw-2010-kootenay-tour-best-bc.html You must understand though. We do not believe you when you say you have bought a VFR. Unless of course you can post pix. We like pix. Lots of pretty pix. Seattle eh? Kinda wet there isn't it? Keep next June long weekend open for a BBQ. I will stop by on my way there to team up with you. We would only be going as far as Atascadero Ca.
Hi Medic. Welcome aboard the VFR train( ahhh bike I suppose ).....it stops for nobody!!!! I'm new here too, lots to check out and I agree with Randy, need lots of pics please. Navman
welcome to the madness congrats on the G5, its the 2nd best viffer :second: i had a hawk for about 2 years. it was a fun little bike also.
Thanks for the welcome everyone. Here's the only pic I have right now. Only mods are the Micron pipe and Zero Gravity windscreen. The previous owner also threw in a set of Cortech saddle bags and tank bag, plus a ton of routine maintainence supplies and manuals. I loved the Hawk GT (NT 650) I had. Small, lightweight, handled like a dream, and was a blast to ride. That's the one bike I've had the I wish I could get back. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
