new guy in new hampshire

    just got a 91 vfr.....trying to decide if i want to keep it.two questions....where can i get a upper for this bike and can anyone indentify this exhaust

    IMO you should keep the bike, unless there is so much damage that it's going to cost you an arm and a leg to get her going. As far as your questions, don't know about the exhaust, and, an upper what? Pretty much everything can be found on e-bay. Just search for VFR, then limit to 750. That'll get you in the ball park.     its got minimal damage to the upper cowl.....is the stock upper cowl one piece or does it split into two?

    I dont specialize in that year, but I think it will probably split into two. If only one half is damaged then perhaps only have to buy one side. (are the colors for that year all red?, I think they may be, so it would be easy to find a match...?)

    the bike runs great and has low miles...it needs a tire on the front badly but im doing that tommorow....i have a million questions about this bike...who is the authority around this board

    Looking at the Haynes manual, it looks like the cowl can be split in two. If it's only minimal damage, depending on what it actually is, it may be better to just fix it. You can try Plasti-fix to fix cracks and holes. If it's just a little rash, just sand down and repaint. Either of these options might be better than getting one off e-bay. As far as authority, there are alot of people here that can give you advice, just keep posting your questions and they'll get answered. BTW, nice bike.
