The Vintage motorcycle races are this weekend at Mid-Ohio. Any of the Ohio guys or anybody else going? I'll be there from about 9:30am on tomorrow. Anybody want to meet up? Easy to find me. Just look for the only Grey/Pewter 83 Interceptor. We could pick a time and place at the track to meet. It would be nice to meet other people from here.

:tsk: I've been wanting to get to that event for the last several years... every season something prevents it.

    Maybe next year...

    Guys,
This was my first visit and probably won't be my last. We had a large time there with the swap meet and everything.....great demo rides....dealer set ups.....I thought of taking my VFR but my friend I ride with said lets take our classic bikes...so my GS850 got to go to Ohio to sit around for a day of rain. Rick took his Z-1-900 and got many complements......We ended up in the same motel with the crew from Kawasaki and the folks were great....had a great time and am looking forward to next year...

I rode out there from Philly on Thursday, and my brother rode in from Syracuse to meet me the same day. We had a great time. I was disappointed that the Ashland flat track races were canceled, though.

This was my third year there and my bother's ninth. We took the long route home Sunday on Rte 6 across northern PA, and split up at Wellesboro, me going south and he north. Very nice ride, even if it was a twelve hour day in the saddle. We're going to meet in Wellesboro, PA next year and ride out there on Rte. 6 together. Takes longer, but it eliminates a lot of slab boredom.

I'll be going this weekend for the AMA races. Turns out that I have been able to turn this into a business meeting somehow and am getting paid to go. I couldn't complain about it.

The Vintage racing is OK but I normally go to the super bike weekend. The day was ok to kind of sucked for the day over all. A $200 dollar speeding ticket will do that ya know?
