can you identify this "part"?

    i recently found this black cover thingy lying under my bike in our parking house. i looked around on the bike and couldn't seem to find any logical place for it, so i stuck it in my pocket and forgot it. does anyone recognise it as a part for my VFR 2000? if not it's probably the neighbours car that has lost it (their car was parked right next to mine, dont remember if it was a Honda though).

    as you can see it's marked with HONDA and PULL with an arrow to each side. have a look! strange thing...

    I'll guess it is a fuse panel cover off a Honda Accord.

    I have the same issue as you. I found that one under my 99VFR one day. Couldn't figure out where to put it.

    It goes under the headlight. Look right above the front fender & you'll see an opening that matches the shape.

    That part is a plug to cover the hole where you stick a tool in to wind down the built in jack on a car.

    Believe it or not on some new cars the jack is built in, and the owner just removes a plug and inserts a crank handle through the hole in the bumper and that jacks up the car.

    I found the hole and it snaps right in. I wonder how it came loose. Maybe I should use a piece of duct tape to keep it in place. Thank you for the lead.
