    Hey all,

I'd like some HID lights for my 90vfr. Does anyone know the proper kit to purchase? Any success with specific brands? Any downsides? Thanks in advance.

I've got a 6thGen that I bought 4 HIDs for. I had no trouble intalling the low beams with the 35w slimline ballast model. But I had a lot of trouble finding room for the MUCH larger 55 watt model.
The slim line ballast run of the original wiring (plug and play) but they also require a 20 amp wire connected directly to the battery to ignite the globe. The larger Ballasts don't need the extra line becuase they have a coil/capacitor in them.

I strongly suggest getting the slim line ballast and put up with the extra wireing, becuase you'll have a hell of a time finding some where to mount the larger ballasts. I would probably go for the 35 watt model for low beam and not worry about the 55 watt. 35 watts are about as bright as 200 watt halogen
