Hello there, I'm a curious rider who's been very intrigued by the VFR after riding my friend's 02 about a year back. I currently ride a 2002 Honda Shadow ACE (thats up for sale) and am pretty set on a VFR (somewhere in the 02 - 08 ish range probably)for my next bike. So here I am to lurk and post occasionally! Welcome Tim, all VFRs are fun to ride. Don't just limit yourself to a 6gen, unless you want ABS and VTEC.
Thanks for the welcome! I actually just prefer the look of the 6gen to most of the rest. It's more of a preference thing I'm not against other years, those are just the ones that I have a visual affinity for. I've found with motorcycles that looks don't grow on me. If i don't like the look of a bike, i'll never like the look of that bike (and for the record, I do like the looks of the 1200s)
Welcome to the madness. Good luck on the hunt. Keep an eye out on CL, there are alot of them out there. Post up your questions about pricing and I'm sure that alot of people will tell you if you're getting hosed or not. Adam
thanks for the welcome I'm all over CL and ebay (although ebay really just to keep an eye). i have three - four local dealers, but i'd prefer to keep it private. i'm not opposed to travelling so i dont limit myself to local only either. I'll find my bike one day still need to move this one first (as much as I'd love to keep it, just isn't feasible)
Don't forget to check eBay and dealer sites for left over, in the crate, 07's. Not too long ago there were plenty to be had brand new for 7-8k.
