I own a 2002 VFR model with red and yellow Tail Lights, I was wondering if any one knew were i could get clear ones other than Honda (cause there bloody expensive "$500AU+"). I have had a good look around but have found nothing yet. NEED HELP PLEASE.

I bought the clear LED ones from these guys: 2@4. They're based in France so shipping might be a bit expensive for you, but they were the best price I could find when I bought mine :)

Try HERE for the rear tail light. It's number 4 on the list. $215US = Aprox $257AU.

The post by Northy has the 2@4 link. Or just click on this...

    VFR 800 VTEC 02/09 Feu LED Clignotants Intégrés - Homologué E11 | Feu LED Cligno Intégrés | HONDA | VFR 800 vtec 02/09 | 2a4

I think it was $127 delivered. I had to use a google translator as I went through the web pages. Also, they have a smoke version for the same price.

I ride year round to work, so a fender eliminator means dirty water up my back.

One day I'll ride to work in the rain...Guess I'll get wet! You're a brave one with the few and in between days of rain in SoCal!

For some reason I can't get them to ship to the US. How did you pull that off?

Edit: Sorry I must be drunk 24/7... Nevermind me.

I'm fairly certain that the 2002-2005 model is the same as the 2006-2009 model in the rear lens. If there was a difference, it may have just been in the sockets where the lights go. Anyone able to chime in?

Funny, I was wondering the same myself ... I want to go clear on the tail and the front side markers at some point.

I was inquiring with Thurn Motorsports in Germany, as to what the actual difference between all of the model lenses they have listed on their site are. They advised me that they are currently out of stock, and are going with a new supplier. They report that the only lens they will be carrying in the future is going to be the smoke lens, with the rubber bushings around the mount points as to protect the internals, and they would have more come April.
