VFR4464, are you riding presently, and if so what bike is it?

You have yet to answer the question?

No, I'm pretty sure we "get it". From my point of view if your goal is to introduce inflamitory statements designed soley to agitate people, just have the guts to present it as such. God knows I'm not above such behavior myself.
Anyway, this has been fun, but I need to get my overweight, out-of-shape but to bed so I can get up in 5 hours and do 10 or 11 hours of whatever it is overweight, out-of-shape people do with themselfs.

The TOP AMA riders, and MOTOGP riders are in tip top condition, and when they push a bike very hard you will work youselve to the limit, I do not think that you have a clue about riding a high perfromance bike to the limit, and Reg boy could not keep up with Mat M on a super bike, no way.
That is totally nonsense, Reg does not even ride fast. Compared to these guys. I dont think you have any idea about how fast these sports bikes are.
stick to your old man VFR, with your old fart riders.
You VFR guys are a bunch of armchair riders, I could take you guys down easy. Show me your full lean at 160 MPH on a VFR give me a break please.
A VFR will not even hold a line at that speed, in fact it can't go that fast.
Enjoy your bike but don't tell me how to ride.

You know nothing Reg uses a tight line approach, and thinks he steers his bike with his body even his son thinks its wrong. And he had some of the worst crashes you have every seen. Spencer uses trail braking because he could not get his entry speed right, I you want to look at a real rider, look at
Joey Dunlop, best street racer ever won more Isle of MAN TT's than anyone.
Moto GP ladies would not race at the isle of man because it was dangerous.

I am from the UK, and I was racing bikes when I was 15 in the rain, and crap Ladies. Any trime any one of you guys want to wheel it out it is going to cost you your bike plus 10K. When you lose, money up front because you will likely kill youselves.

    Good night ladies.

Once more a subject has devolved into name calling instead of thoughtful, useful, and informative disucssion. EVERYONE is entitled to their opinions and we all like to cut up and joke around. There is nothing wrong with that in any way shape or form. However........in the last week this is the second thread that has turned into an apparent testosterone contest. Unless you have actually ridden with a person, it is difficult their riding ability is next to impossible from what they write. You might get an impression of their thoughts on their own skills, or how well they think they do or do not ride, but it is not an actual assessment.

VFR4464 started off with an observation and while his choice of wording in his observation may not have been the best ones (but who am I to say they really were or were not), it is his observation none the less. In his last post, he stated he is in the UK. Maybe that's the situation there, maybe not, I cannot say with any certainty. I have seen young riders and older riders on VFR's. I can say the same for sportbikes. Each person has his own preference for a type of bike and each person has his own riding style. Each person has something to contribute to the whole, and differences of opinion will most assuredly surface. Threads that turn into name calling and an "I know more than you" or "you know nothing" or any other amount of name calling/implying thread is really not called for. It is counter productive to the community as a whole. We are here because we love our VFR's. Not everyone loves the VFR. And even if a non-VFR rider joins and expresses his opinion, he, or she, is entitled to that opinion, stated or not.
