I have just fitted a high-mount Remus Grand Prix (straight through) carbon can on my '98 & just wanted to know if I need to be concerned with it running lean....or any other problems. I am HOPING all should be OK as I can't really justify a PC (to SWMBO) at the moment. I love the look of the can & it sounds truly amazing. The weight difference is very noticable when riding too. Thanks for your help.

As far as I know there should be no issues but the PC will optimize what you've done. I've got a Scorpion CF can on mine and all is well.

There were no issues at first but it seems to be a little harder to start from cold now. Once started she seems to run fine. Will the FI deal with any "leaness", etc? I just want to make sure that I am looking after the bike. Thanks for the help.

I thought as much, but any ideas as to why it is harder to start? She always fired up quickly with the stock pipe.

Does anyone knows if the stock exhaust pipe on a 2006 VFR 800 will fit on a 1999 VFR 800 with some modification? Has anyone ever done this? I found on Craigslist someone is selling the 2006 VFR 800 exhaust and I was thinking to buy it and install on my 1999 VFR 800 so that the exhaust pipes go under the seat. Thanks, Tom
