What do VFR owners do for a living?

Which one? I've just done thermal studies on Ginna, NMP, and JAF.

 

IT guy here as well, currently looking for work.

Have you tried Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, L3, govjobs.com, etc..... I know we have lots of positions open (GenDyn) depends on what you do...

professional nerd, systems engineer, paid to be yelled at, have to many certificates to be employable so i take what i can get.

IT type guy. I've been doing network admin (think switching, routing, etc) for a number of years now. Currently doing Maintenance Engineer work for a Fiber provider in the NE. I take customer complaints, fix them, re-engineer as needed, etc. So I'm a mix of engineering and NOC support. Fun times!

 

I eat goats that pass over that bridge not far from your home. I can live off internets entirely for months. Every now and then when it rains I pull the VFR out and go for a ride.

 

Thirty one years as a federal worker. Retired for two years, and now work for a state department of transportation, motor carrier enforcement.

 

Verizon Fiber Optic Installation/maint. tech. (cable guy).
Also spent a lot of money to become a commercial aviator. After wife, kids, and industry downturn, ran out of said money. Ended up with a ppl, inst.rating, a half completed King commercial pilot course, and no flight time in the last few years.
Now I just ride my VFR around making jet noises.
