If you havn't already, check out the Remote Desktop over @ Service Honda.

I'm new here and found this usefull for the Honda lines

Parts breakdowns, prices, everything, for EVERY honda motorcycle from 1959 - 2006.

If you have Windows XP (I'm sure most of you do)

    Go to
Start > Programs > Accessories > Communications > Remote Desktop Connection

    Punch in this IP: 69.213.66.54

You will then load Service Hondas Desktop onto your machine. You gotta click on the little book (top left toolbar) and then find the bike you have. After that, play around to figureout all the buttons.

Thanks for posting that. That's a different way of getting to their remote desktop than going thru their site. :thumb: After going to Remote Connections, if you click the options button, you can then click save as and save the remote connection settings to say you "My Documents" folder or to your desktop. Then you just click on that and you don't have to hunt down this thread to find the IP address.

Green1, thanks for the heads-up on Service Honda. Can you order directly
online with this desktop? I couldn't figure out how to do it. I did, however,
find their 800 order number. Thanks again.

    What a grand idea.
So i had a look at '05 crank bits and there is 0.25 and 0.50 oversize pistons and rings, so what's to stop someone from boring out and fitting the oversize gear= more cc=more power?
Not being a mechanic is .25 or .50 oversize going to make much difference, if any?

Yep, knew that, have done it a few times looking for parts before I call. Though I found it via another link, as funny as it sounds through Yamaha of Troy of all places, something to do with their site being inter-net friendly I believe, cool though huh?

Nice! Reminds me of the Navy's Supply System program, and I have lots of experience with that. I like how you get the tech. drawing and the part database on the same screen. Thanks alot bro!
