Can i mount a '83 vf750 gas tank to a '85 vf700?

    According to the parts fiches, the tanks themselves have different part numbers, but that may just be due to paint scheme/color. The components in the tank and the mounting hardware are the same, and the pictures are identical. I'd defer to someone with more experience, though.
