98 VFR800 what oil do you recomend

What oil do you guys recomend?

I use Valvoline 10-40. You'll shortly have 40 replies to this question, and 40 different answers...

 

lol, thanks, I have 40000 some odd miles on my bike and it runs strong and smooth, just looking to keep it that way.

 

RedLine Motorcycle 10/40! Anything else will spin a bearing & blow your engine!

 

With 40,000 on a 5th gen and running strong, we should be using what you use! :smile:

My $.02 . . . Non energy conserving + synthetic + change it (and the filter) often = you'll wear the rest of the bike out before the engine or trans. Non-EC will narrow the list of possibilities very rapidly.
