What's the deal? The stock headlamps on my 2 gen aren't cutting it. Has anyone upgraded their headlamps to the HID/Xenon bulbs? Do any kits work with the 55/60 watt single bulb setup?

    Let me hear your thoughts!

What you need is a bi-xenon setup. 35 watts will work just fine. Stick with either 4300k (brighter) or 6000k (bluer) color. Xenon light Hid kit Hid light Hid headlights Bulbs Ballasts Car parts. Been using their products for 6 years in several vehicles. All kits are still working great.

Are HIDs worth the upgrade? I will never use halogen again in any vehicle I own.

are these just "plug and play" systems or is there more to them?

Most bulb types are plug and play. I buy a relay harness for every kit that doesn't have one. H4, all Bixenon , and a couple of other bulb types (not sure which; I confirm before I buy) come with a harness.

The plug and plays should work fine. The harness has thicker wires and gives flexibility to mount ballasts anywhere you want. Some people use the P n P method and are happy. I prefer a harness. I'll much rather power from the battery. Neither method is difficult to install. For relay install, lay everything on the ground with the harness spread out, put a ballast on either end of the harness, and you'll understand what goes where.

I'm a hid fanatic, so if you need help or have any questions, shoot me a pm.
