sounds like it was meant to be.... yeah I hate the paying of the back registration here.... I had to do that with my current VFR...it sat just under five years before I grabbed it up..

what is up with the back registration thing? from what I am getting, if you buy a vehicle that has been sitting unregistered for five years because the previous owner decided not to drive it anymore, you have to pay the state of cali those five years of registration, is that correct? If so how is that legal for them to do this?

Here in PA, if you buy a vehicle that has been sitting without a current registration, the only thing you have to pay is the price for the current year that you will be driving it on.

Good deal on the bike by the way...except for the back registration thing.

its legal because a few politicians (or depending just one single person) makes a "law" stating this is it, does it make it right, no but thats how government works. wife told me about something that happoned in a state recently, i think the majority of the citizens voted against gay marrage, or something. some judge just said basicially, nop i disagree, so he, one man, overturned the law that had been passed.

    politics and politicians suck.

great looking bike, well worth it even with the registration cost. youll love the vfr, great bike for anyoen that rides for more than an hour at a time.

i woudl like to know who you bought the front tire from.
