    Hi all,

I am a Frenchman living in Austria (not australia, there are no kangaroos here, only amazing wiener schnitzel)

Long time reader, first time poster. I don't know if zere are many ozer frenchies in da place.
    Are there other frenchies? :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Yeah basically I decided to stop spying on you guys and try to help a little.

I own a '84 VF500F with 43k km on it (roughtly 27k miles for those none metric folks if they still exist, arn't they extinct by now?!?).

The exhaust 4-2 box started to fall apart so I decided to reweld new parts on it.

Hm, I guess you see what happened her.

Try to get da small box out... => g.. dam... I have to remove the engine => OMFG it's over dirty in here => start removing random stuffs around => hmm, so many boxes now

    What have I done?!?

Okay so now I'm in the process to rebuild it new, cleaned already the carbs using an ultrasound cleaner (twice each carburator and each time 1cm of tar a the bottom of my 5L cleaner) And they are quite clean compared to the rest :shower:

I will post some picture later on when I find time.

Until then have a good ride folks and avoid the toads on da roads.

Here is the status of today.

Next plan is to paint it (one can not see it here, but there are spots of rust almost everywhere).
