Hi all, RRProfessor from Colorado. Yet another Pearl White '06. First streetbike
in a long time,('79 GS750E) was the last one to see the street. I'm a retired
roadracer...you can drag your knee on the tarmac (w/o going to jail) and there aren't as many "Blue Hairs" in Buicks trying to run over you. Anyway getting old, and the hands fall asleep (bad for throttle control & braking) so it's back to the streets. So.... VFR's.... they seem pretty cool so far. Only
600 miles. handle OK, sound cool, pretty smooth, kinda slow. Before all ya'll
(thats more than 3 of you) boo me off the forum, I am used Pro 600 Supersport bikes. I'm think'n somes springs, pipes, and software and it'll run down the road pretty good.

I joined up just a few weeks ago. Have been doing lots an lots of reading. It's nice to have a venue for so much great information. I plan on riding the wheels off this bike, so I hope to be able to meet some of you and ride with some of the groups.
It's only bad if you hear scraping sounds...then silence.

Welcome to the group Professor. Hope you enjoy your ride as much as I do. I don't have the experience you have so I don't notice its shortcomings. Sometimes its a benefit to be ignorant.

Welcome, would be really interesting to hear about some of your racing experiences. Is the RR for road-racer?

    MrDe, Thanks for the welcome.
Yes RR is for roadracer, Professor was the nickname the announcers gave me as I was the New Rider Director and race instructor for the mountain region. Spent 18 years racing and 10 teaching. Loved every minute of it.
This is my first try at a forum. As soon as I figure out how to put pictures on I will. The bike is still stock...minus some of the unnecessary junk streetbikes come with. RR

Big Welcome to V4 land, I'm envious of all your experiences and look forward to seeing your posts. I found photobucket was the easiest way to post pictures.
