Were the passenger handles an option? I never saw one without them until I bought my latest bike. It has painted covers over the holes.

By the way, I am looking for a set if anyone has a set that they want to get rid of.

Who you calling a "snob" punk?

Lol...I love your sig. You need to put that on a shirt or make a poster. Nice stable you gots there. Hope you feed the horses well.

BTW, I would browse the classifieds (on here) for totaled out bikes and the like.

    :) THX! :)

I will be checking ebay and the classifieds. Obviously they must be an option as your avatar pic does not seem to show any. My '97 had them.

(I think), (dunno, never sat back there :) )

Actually, mine has them, but I bought them. I bought the bike used from the second owner, so I don't know if it had them or not. In my avatar pic I have my GIVI saddlebag mounts on, so there is no room.

They are standard equipment on 6th gens, although a few members have mentioned that the dealership has tried to sell them on top of the bike purchase. Fortunately my dealership played no such game. Buyer beware.

I think they have always been standard, but I can't swear to it. I bought my bike used, but the last few new VFRs I saw on the sales floor had them on.

I concur, I believe they are always standard. But you know, you take em off, then you forget where you put them, then you sell the bike, then 10 years later you're cleaning the garage and you're like "what the hell are these?"
