    Long story short
I had to get rid of my 2008 600RR (Graffiti) couple weeks ago and needed a ride to commute to work (35 miles from Oakland to San Jose area)
Driving takes about an hour and half to two hours each way (riding less than 45 on a bad day) so driving was out of the question.

My wife had a VFR800, she didn't like it because it felt too heavy for her and she would like something lighter, more flickable.

    In the end, I stole my wife's 2009 VFR800A.
She will be getting something smaller, most likely a 600 supersport (CBR or GSXR are high on the list for her) and I'll be ripping the roads up on the VFR.

Tell you the truth, the bike is heavy, it's somewhat ugly, it's not my 600RR.
However, when I took it for a long ride down some of my favourite canyon roads and had a blast. The bike will do everything that a sane person should do on the street and then some. I was very surprised and I'm happy with my new ride.

welcome to your new addiction. The VFR is not a CBR, but it has it's own feel and it's own following ;)

A CBR is a better track bike while the VFR will let you ride all day without having to walk like a pregnant yak.

    Congrats!
