    Honestly, don't waste your time with progressivley wound fork springs. They're not much better than what you have now. Go for a straight-rate spring for your weight and the bike will handle better.

    how much would they cost, and where in the uk would i get them? i have fitted progresive springs to a few of my bikes in the past, and always been pleased with the results. would these springs fit my bike. is there such a thing as a 88 750r?

    I've never tried the straight rate stronger springs that Hawkrider likes, but i've used Progressive (brand) springs in my '86 VFR, '88 Hawk, aqnd '89 VTR 250 and notice a definite improvement.

    The installation instructions concerning spacer length in the VFR were WRONG, and i finally needed to cut back about an inch before i got ANY static sag.
