I have had some folks inquire so I thought I should let everybody know that the Insurance Company totaled out my VFR, so I did not keep the side cases, which were pretty mangled. They kept all the bike parts, so If your looking for a salvage bike, I bet its online somewhere. I don't know the process insurance companies go through to sale salvage vehicles to recoup some of their loss. I only have gear items for sale. The new Frogg Toggs and UV2000 Half Cover. The used items I have are Ballistic 5.0 winter over pants(XL), Joe Rocket Mesh Armored Jacket(XL) and a Pair of Field Armor boots (10.5). All the used items are in really good shape since I had a grand total of under 6000 miles riding time. The boots are the only thing listed here that were actually in the crash, but they did not get a scratch.

Starr, sorry to hear about your fall. Post surgical pain can be kicker, however, it soon will improve. I had a similar spill in 1999 and had my right shoulder reconstructed. That was real pain! Anyway, I stayed away for several years as I had two yougsters at the time. Now I have three but not so young. I returned to riding in 2007 without a day of regret. On 21 May I picked up my frist VFR (2003) and, ironically, my first trip was on NC 28/143 and 129, so I am familiar with where you went down. Believe it or not, you will eventually want to return to the saddle again. I am from you same area (Charlotte not Concord) and return home as often as I can. If you ever want to discuss, just drop me a line.
