VFRs come with plastic filler inserts

All the VFRs came with matching plastic filler inserts. Check the plastic bag that your paperwork came in. If you don't have them, you can order them from any honda OEM parts supplier. They come in the original OEM colors for the year of mfr. Hope that helps.

    Not for the 5th gen.

I haven't seen anything, you'll have to fab something up.

Not exactly, but here's some shots of the Givi brackets for the older style tubular racks. If you have the trunk rack mounted the side case rack mounts to that.

If you want to use only the sidecases you can remove the trunk rack and mount these two brackets where the grab handles mount.

I think a similar bracket could be bent up and mounted to fill the hole in, you kinda get the idea from the first pic. Maybe paint them or attach some foam and fabric to match the seat? Dunno, haven't really thought about it before. hth

If you have access to a belt sander and dril press, all you need is some model rail road plast block. You can shape and drill that stuff any way you want. Then simply spray color to match.

Mine were missing when I got it, I think the solo cowl covers it. other wise I like being able to cross my backpack straps under it then it is locked in place so I don't have to wear it.
Probably not the answer you were looking for though.
