Finally got my vfr last weekend, saturday. Went and pick it up from the sellers house, it was like love at first sight, its so flawless for 98 model, the pain is near perfect, when i started it up, rev it couple of times it sounded like a real mean machine there with the dale walker exhaust. i just love that growl, i could wait to test drive it but it was raining so we waited for the rain to stop. Finally ten minutes later i had the chance to take on the road, i just love how comfi the seat and how easy to go around the potholes, it did everything i wanted it to do, drove it like i have owned one of them before. It never feels like a 500lbs bike. Though i didnt get to drive it that much coz it started to rain again, i went back to the seller with the smile on my face. I didnt get to test the r/r coz i forgot my multi meter but it looks like its been replace to the newer model coz it have fins. the only have 17100 miles in it and the tires had 3000 miles on them. anyways. i'll try to post some pics

Ya! I'd say your meter is broken. There's no way a sitting battery will read 15 volts, maybe 13 or 13.5 but not 15. Should be like, off=12.7 running @3k = 14.7. If your meter is off by 2 volts, your ok.

Nice bike! makes my y2k look old!
