Hello from Richmond, VA

New VFR owner here. I've been a biker for over 25 years starting when I was 8 on a Yamaha DT-80. I moved from north Georgia to Richmond and haven't had a bike for over 5 years...but that ended when I bought a decent '86 vf500. I just had the carbs done (looking for a slider diaphram!) and am hoping to get it back on the road this weekend.

Good to be here...hope I can contribute something.

 

welcome...i live in chesterfield...near hull and courthouse....we should hit up a ride sometime....my buddy and i are going to wv this saturday but its gonna be a hell of a ride for ur 1st time back on a bike

 

I'd like that. I'm not sure I'll have the bike ready by then what with having to get the slider diaphragm. As far as being my first ride back, I'll be fine. I've ridden friends bikes over the past few years and I had my CCS race license a few years back...I should be ok. :wink:
