Are you sure you weren't just digging on the dude with the love handles, and those two guys on the bike could almost get arrested for lewd and lascivious conduct.

I agree. That is why I have ordered the Kustom Krome Katalog for some skulls and shit, some of those 48" black leather fringe bar ends and some neon lights for under the fenders.

Bike shoulda been a V-5 but that aside along with the stuborn Japanese philosophy of losing face. Remember the stupid CBR 900 with that 16 inch front wheel? Every racer chucked it in favor of a 17 in front hoop. Then they finally submitted and changed up their chit. If Honda dont sell these turds they will just ship em back to Japan, kinda like those real tasty 50 cc bikes of 5 or 6 years ago that looked like a 60s race bike. Those things are gone, would have looked killer hanging from my wall though but not for 6 grand. As far as the italians go, sheeesh. If it aint Jap its CRaP!!! F ducarti

harsh words there.. as i ride italian... what i want to know is if yall are soooooooo happy with your current VFR... why does what they have done with the new one bother you... i have NEVER made an elitest comment like if it aint italin its a piece of garabage.. . but you know who does talk like that the HD crowd you sir have just become an asshole.. oooo btw the reason the 900rr had a 16in front was it turned in sharper.. it was a race bike.. that was the whole point of it.. most switched out for a 17 on the streets because it was easier to manage but that 16 made u take corners like a beast.. have a wonder day

I was an arse hole before i posted this. I raced a 900 SS and it was a good race bike not a street bike. I rode countless monsters which are their number one selling model and never thought much of them. Desmodromics are some interesting engineering but are not for the neophyte when it comes to adjustment. That being said i am very happy with my old honda and nothing the company makes appeals to me. And lets face you italianphiles buy that marque to stand out from the rest of use knuckle draggers, you wana accumulate carbon fibre as a trophy and when we look at your tyres they aint even barley scuffed in. So go drink your expresso and I will continue to ride my jap-crap. FU vry much

Looks like Honda gained some financial face with the (c. 1992) twenty million 50's they made. The 50cc sportbikes were modeled after the 50cc GP bikes that ran for years everywhere but in the US. Some of the repli-racers looked strangely like 90's VFrs.

Lots of folks made 50cc bikes Missing from the list on this site sadly is the Kriedler but a sharp dude, who knows a whole bunch about bikes can surely find out about them.

    50cc Motorcycles

About ten k will get you into a used 125cc Honda GP bike. Not much torque but tons of rpm and corner speed that kicks butt.

i do NOT accumulate CF as a matter of face i only 1 piece on mine that came with the bike nor do i have any desire for more.. it fades. and looks like shit.. cant be repainted easily either.. NOW.. i did ride I4's for quite some time.. now your talking about the 900 SS a duc model i thought we were talking about the front wheel on a 900RR .. but i ride Aprilia i did not buy my bike to stand out from the rest of you.. i bought my bike because i love Vtwin power.. i didnt like the egro's on a TLS the VTR Superhawk had a tiny tank and iwanted Sport touring.. that left me with .. The falco, the 900ss ( not as comfy as we both aggree on for the street) the futura to big for my tastes.( and i wasnt happy with my 900rr i wanted something more comfortable to ride.so i looked into all possibleitys. and honestly i think those were the only vtwin sporttouring bikes out there .. o the mulitstrada god that 1100S was hideious and to tall didnt like the way it road.... and the tuono to naked ... .. BTW ride the dog crap outta my bike why dont you ride up to dc and see what kinda chicken strips i have on my bike.. ( none FYI)... I HAVE NEVER STATED MY BIKE IS BETTER THAN YOU OR ANY OF THAT CRAP.. this bike fits me and is better for me.. i respect and think there are some amazing bikes out there.. not just italian.. i am a lover of all forms of 2 wheeled entertainment....

Actually test rode a 1200 yesterday - great will buy at soonest opportunity. Rode to dealer on 6th gen so tested back to back. 6th gen is at least an 8 year old design and feels it in comparison. Power everywhere, great handling and superb brakes and for those who struggle with 6 gears or perhaps have a lot of urban travel an auto option.

Honda were never going to build a sportsbike that would cannibalise CBR1000 sales - to be legitimate they'd have to take it racing too $$$. Moto GP is failing, grid size falling and costs rising, superbikes is where it's at so the V5 is a blind alley. Average age of a motorcyclist is increasing as our flexibility and eyesight decreases. If you want an out and out Honda sportsbike get a CBR.

Long time member of many BMW boards. Owned various BMW's over the past ten years. Signed up here because my early bikes were Honda and I saw the 1200F in person and think it looks like a fantastic machine.

Laughing my ass off because I thought only Beemer owners bashed the new stuff when they came out....."wouldn't give up my <<you fill in the blank>> for that piece of shit!"

    Orca!

Everyone knows the VFR line really died in '02 when the VTEC came out...the '98-'01's were the last and best of the great Interceptors. :flame:

    LOL!!

Then ya got the guys who ride Beemers that carry calipers with them to measure the white stripes. Almost gave up my

R100RS with Krauser 4 valve heads, 40mm Mikuni flatslides.Luftmeister clutch and 2 into 1 pipe, Konis, chopped flywheel, K-75 bars, ect. Who cares if I have to jump it when the temp is lower than 40F? the mofo do go.

It was a chick with her ass hanging over the front. She showed us a lot of her black Gstring with those low rise jeans riding down.

It's important not to wear granny panties when stunt riding.

They do the same stunt in SoCal with the chica in the buff. A real attention getter.

Are Granny panties something we should know about? Got a pic?

Not trying to stoke any flames here.

I feel that the best bike for a person is what ever they decide is right for them. We all have opinions and we certainly love to share them, but they are not facts. For those reasons alone I have to agree with what Punisher said in respect to everyone having thier own ride.

As for the "Death of the VFR/Interceptor/etc." calls I'm quite sure there were similar articles posted & written when my beloved Charlotte - a 1986 VF500F - was to be the last V-4 500cc made. Some folks love the VTEC, some love the 1200, some swear by the 5th gen and so on down the line. I say we take the new VFR for what it is:

    The new VFR.

    Can we agree on that?

    Looking for peace,

    Revengel
