I'm in the process of cleaning my carbs and noticed that the mounting bracket for the choke cable on the carb seems to be missing part(s). Can anyone tell me what I'm missing and if there is an easy fix, say make my own part?

    Thanks for any help.

You are missing a bolt 4x8 and a small clamp. They are used to keep the choke external in place. Easy to fabricate one, but beware it needs to be rigid as it gets some stress.
I will search my pile and post a photo tomorrow.

Sweet! I have access to a machine shop to fabricate the part.

You're ready! I forgot I have a set of carbs disassembled in boxes.

Cool. Looks like all I'm missing is the screw and the clamp, which I should be able to get just about anywhere. Thanks for the help.

If it was for me to fabricate one I would do a different design. Instead of having it "open" at one end I would wrap it around the edge.
Original design needs a lot of force for the clamp to be fixed and even then the cable slips.
