In response to OP, try holding on with your feet a bit more. Less weight transfer onto the handle bars.
You mean more weight on the pegs, rather than on my backside? Generally speaking this is my preferred way of negotiating bendy roads. ie weight off the seat and on the balls of my feet, and it seems to work fairly well. I'm not sure I have the thighs to ride like that all the time though. On the other hand, I could start trying to train the reflex that automatically reverts me to more peg weighting when the need for a rapid response to riding conditions arises. Good thought rktscntst.
This holding on with one's feet is interesting. I don't suppose there are any pictures of anyone but a few HD dudes that can really do that is there?
