New on the bourd , but did lurk for sometime :biggrin: I`m not new to Interceptors as back in 85 i bought a new VF700 & loved it until it decided to end it`s life on an oil spilled road back in 86. :frown: Since then i have pretty much rode cruisers & standard bikes & once in awhile a sport tourer or 3. But have always had a spot in my heart for the VF`s (mostly first gen). So now i`m an owner of an 83 that need cosmetic & engine work (both can hopfully be fixed) . Love looking thru all threads to find what i need , but if i ask something that was all ready ask sorry !!! Will post pics of new purchase when i pick it up

It`s an 83 , that another bourd member from a different web sit has. Went there for Magna parts & came home with an empty wallet (love a good plan) I had to get rid of my pickup because every time i went somewhere i`d come home with a bike in the back.

Thanks & will see when i finally get it home (working on an 82 V45 Magna right now) 18,000 mi`s & will be looking to trade someone some day for an older Interceptor for it.

Welcome to the site and have fun fixing up the bike. I bought my 03 with cosmetic damage and fixed her up over the winter.

 

Well here she is , 1/2 dressed & super ugly paint job

Came with a NJ title & the rest of the plastic. (not pictured) and yes it`ll need an exhaust
