So I am having issues here. With the satin black auto paint, I found out its a soft paint. Since the look I was going for, wouldnt allow for a clear coat. I would take the satin black and clear coat it. Then it would look just like an extremely glossy black. Not the look I was going for. Now back to the softness. WHen riding the bike. My zipper on my jacket was putting superficial scratches on the tank, jeans putting scratches on the side panels. Figure I would wet sand, rubbing compound, polish compound, then a wax would give it some protection Vs nothing. So I learned a few things about buffing last night. Images show the what knots.

The tank was turning out really good. Considering working in horrible lighting.

And where Mr. Highspeed Buffer decides to eat Mr. Panel.

I literally held it there for 2 secs, maybe a touch longer. But the damn thing runs at warp speed.
Overall it looks really good other than for the chomp out of the panel.

    Richmond, VA.

Tore the rear fenders off today, resanded the damn thing. Repainted.

Buffed the rest of the bike by hand. Would have taken pics but I left the camera on all night and batteries said "FU". So I will take some tomorrow. After I fix 'er back up.

Wet sanded - high speed buffed and detailed the bike.

My lil brother and I spent about 4-5 hours detailing the bike. So this is the final look.

Got a minor high rpm issue that I will be addressing in the coming week.

Still need to get sprockets and levers installed.

Right on. I think yellow and green stripes mean they're live rounds, not practice.

i got some Q2's on my bike just in time for reg's and I absolutely love em. Best tire i've had to the viffer. Very linear turn in, doesnt 'dive' into turns, but they still want to turn. Grip like mad at a full lean, and only had one grip issue, but i goosed the throttle pretty damn good at full lean, all it did was step out very controlled like.

You sir, will be recieving one of these in July

And here I thought it had something to do with compounds..... I should be more careful with them.

Thats nice, its good to hear some feedback on the tire. Other than online reviews, I have been curious of the turning specs on the tire. Also since I am going from a 170 rear to a 180.
