Group ride and BBQ in michigan.

Last year we went to Niagara. This year id like to organize another ride, Im not sure where, but I would like to organize another ride and i have arranged to have my grill where we are at (either my place or i can have it sent to wherever we ride to)

Anyone interested

Sounds like a plan. We could start out around my place (about an hour north of the MI/IN border). Head up north, ride around for a day, then bbq and come home.

If you are coming up toward the Canadian border, I would be in for sure. Really enjoyed our ride last year up the Niagara Parkway. Matter of fact, just did that ride again today. Pretty cool near Lake Ontario. Let me know what your are planning and I will do my best to link up with you.

I could very well be in as well. I would be coming from the west side of Cleveland.

I had a blast last year and would very well consider riding again, depending on the date. Will be in California and Hawaii most of May but other than that I should be free. Keep the updates coming

itl be in june or july. ill be checking my calendar soon and getting back here with a date.

 

Here is a possible route.

start in my area (one hour north of MI/IN border) and take the highway over to us 31. take us 31 up the shoreline of the lake to macanaw. I can have my grill at a park in macanaw where we can buy some grub and grill dinner.

then heading home take 75 to 131, and then to old 131 for more scenic fun riding.

Thoughts? Concerns? Criticisms? Jokes? better ideas?

Yep. This is about 7 hours from me. (just checked on mapquest) Maybe if you are coming up closer to Canada, might be able to join you there.

It is going to be tough for me no matter what. Ill do my best to make it no matter what the date.

 

Ill shoot for that then. Last weekend in august. weather should be cooling down by then. should be a fun ride. with good food.

 

I live in Clarkston, MI off I-75. I could meet you up north. I'd probably take US 23 probably from Standish then along Lake Huron. It depends on the timing.
