No idea on fitting later gen fairings, but anything is possible with enough time and money.

Windscreens are: Givi, Secdem, MRA.aybe a few others. I'm running an MRA vario tiruing screen, love it.

Mirrors are up to your imagination. I think the best looking is the late model GSXR's with lights and a little extension on the base. Gets them out from behind your arms.

    Steering damper? DUnno.

If your running solo, here's a suggestion. Get an extra seat, and cut it off just after the seat cowl. Instant storage area.

    Luck.

Why would you put a steering damper on a 1993? I have a 1990 and I don't think my bike would benefit from one. Is your bike modified in a way that would? Now I am curious.

not modified that way just yet. but my roomates cbr1000 has one str8 from Honda and it is just amazing! when your leaning into a bank you can feel the damper pull you into it!!

my fairings arent that bad i just wanted to know of places to go and get ones cuz we are getting some for his cbr and gonna have to pull his off so i was thinking that i might want to do mine.

i am going to try and put on a cbr front end (headlight) on the Viffer! i think that the cbr is a more slick look on it. if that don't work then i might try putting on like a 6th gen headlight cuz that would be pretty cool as well.

i dont think that i am going to put on a damper. i just need to get the wobble outta my handlebars. it wobbles when i take my hands off going above 45 mph.

My bike waggles its bars when the tyre gets worn, with one hand on the bar thou it never does it. Question comes to mind tho, Why are you taking both hands off the bars anyway>? Smoking? Chewing Gum? Tabbacco?

no need for a steering damper, but if your bike is wobbling at 45 (should be rock solid to 90), I would check (in order):

tire tread (any cupping, or abnormal wear)
tire pressure (shoot for mid 30s on anything made in the last 5 years)
    tire balance
worn headstock bearings (a common issue)

p.s., steering dampers do not "pull you into a turn" but protect against abrupt deflection from irregularities in the road surface or ham fisted riding

All a damper would do is mask the problem not fix it. Need to find out what the issue is instead. either front tires cupped or steering head bearings are bad / loose, something along those lines.

took it out for a ride last night and while i was riding through town with my buddy. while we were riding we were going like 60 and i took both hands off just to see and there was NO WIGGLE! i realized that it only wiggles when my Viffer is slowing down. so we should be good to go. no cupping of the tire or anything like that. fixing the speedometer/odometer tonight. wish me luck.

    thanks guys!

are you talking about the coupler on the speedo cable? how much did you have to pay for the new coupler?
