Yep two brother's "stash". The sound is much better than stock though still a bit quiet due to the emissions control parts (I assume).

Its mounted exactly in the same manner as the "real pipe" with the exception of the connection to the mid pipe (its not connected). If you mean is it easy to get into the cannister - the answer is yes provided you have the key. With out the key breaking into the pipe would be impossible short of cutting the can in half - the end-cap is built like a tank!

Just mount the cans "correctly" and you'll have lots of room.:thumb:

Well if your question is directed to me, then the tank protector is made by MagKnight and you can find them at Magnetic Tank Pads, Bra & Motorcycle Protector - Mag-Knight if you want. The headers are awesome and by far the biggest power/performance gain that can be done to the 6th gen VFR. As far as the 900SS Duc, I know what it is but am not very familiar with it. I know more about the 916, 996, 998, 999, & 1098 Duc's. By the way, I am putting my bike up for sale if anyone is interested.

    +1 here
ill see if i can get some pics up soon...
btw i think the motads are worth it just for the sound (and that race smell lol)
but if your doin it expecting big power gains, dont waste your time.
they might add a horse or 2 but even with a good slip on, they are no akrapovic full race system.

I put Motad headers on my 02 and Micron CF. Love it not only for the sound, but for the increased performance as well. With the powercommander III usb, dyno map is 100+ hp.

I ordered both my Motad headers and Micron cf cans through Annitori Distributors. $550 for the headers, $750 for the cans. This was 2 years ago though, so I don't know how the prices may have changed.
