Any gen VFRs in northern CT/Central Mass area

GREAT Ride man, had a really good time. Doesn't get any better that! Best part of the day had to be the hot lap in the new Porsche though. I can't believe what a "family" car was doing around that track. My daily driver is a F350, so needless to say it handles slightly different. (I bet I can carry more crushed stone than he can though lol.)

Gotta do it again when they are racing up there. Till then, time to start planning the next one!

My bad, I just realized you saw us on our way out in the a.m...... duh. Where were ya'll riding that day?

When Chris and I parked at the track, a 5th gen pulled in right behind us by coincidence. Lots of VFRs out that day, I saw two others through out the day.

We were hitting all the dams in the area. Went by LRP a little later. Was a really slow ride. I think I saw 4 total VFR's for the day.

crap - guys I gotta skip Sunday. My girlfriends kid is moving home from school for the summer and I need to make a run to his dorm with my pickup to get all his crap outta his room and back to the house - yahoo lol. I might be able to get out for a shorter ride Saturday. Can't do an all day'er but I should be able to sneak out for a while.

Im new to the forum and just got a 99 2 days ago. Im in Bloomfield 20 min south of you! Id like to meet up with some other Vfr owners to ride, and possibly find out some info on some of the quirks of the bike! Thanks Jeff

 

There are plenty of peeps here on the site from CT, MA, NY, RI, and NY. Congrats on the new bike and welcome to the madness. I'm down in Colchester, off RT-2 towards Norwich. See you around sometime.

 

Welcome to the forum! There is a pretty active group around here, we get out roughly once a month or so...give or take. I work down in Windsor, like a mile from the Bloomfield line. I live in Agawam, just over the MA line. Keep your eyes peeled, join in on the next ride. It's a good group. We like to hit the roads in NW CT / MA, but we'll pretty much go wherever anyone wants. Check out the Bear Mt thread. A few of us are trying to head out there this weekend if you're available.

Ohh, and as for quirks...from what I've seen, every generation seems to have the same problem - they constantly cause the wife to be pissed at you because you are always out riding!
