Quick way to check is to do a rolling start in second gear (helps to have someone push you). Turn the bike on, put it in 2nd, and have someone push you while you hold in the clutch. Once going, release the clutch swiftly but smoothly. If you suspect the engine is locked, be prepared for your rear wheel to lock.

The smoking would have me a little worried but let's start with, do you have the battery fully charged?

remover the stator cover. Make sure ignition switch is OFF. and try to turn crank with 14mm wrench. take the plugs out and it should move easily.
put a pan under the stator cover. you'll get a small amount of oil.

NO NEED to remove stator cover to access end of crank since it's available under the( about) 3" diameter "timing cover" on the clutch side without drips.

Turn--or try to-- with 17mm socket.

Remove plugs and pour 1 oz motoroil/kerosene down each hole, then wait for 2 or 3 days b4 turning. Leave plugs out.

I would suggest plucking the heads off to get a look at the bores if you are sure it is locked up.You tried to turn the crank as suggested by the Squirrel?
