OK, I'm really stumped and desperately need some help.
My fuel pump quit and I had to push the bike home.
FI light came on but no blinks.
Pump did come back on intermittently for a short time.
After spending the whole weekend looking for the source of the problem I find the following-
Battery fully charged. No blown fuses.
Fuel pump does function if I jump the fuel cutoff relay.
Bike starts with the jumper in place and does run on four cylinders.
Switched fuel cut relay and engine stop relays with some from the front, lights/blinkers etc no effect.
I also jumped the engine stop switch to eliminate that as a possibility.
Bank sensor checks out and is installed right side up.
No ability to check ECM but all other functions work..
    Anyone have any other ideas?
I would greatly appreciate any advice.

if your fuel pump quit then it's indeed time to replace the fuel pump altogether. FYI, a 6th gen fuel pump is compatible with the 5th gens, ask me how I know. You can find good a good used fuel pump on ebay cheap.

After replacing the fuel pump if you are STILL having problems then replace the fuel cutoff relay.

But.. I remove the fuel cutoff relay and put a jumper in place and the pump runs.
So the pump still may be bad? I assumed that meant it was something else..

Do you have the service manual? There's a more thorough troubleshooting guide to determine what part is at fault.

Yes, I have the Honda service manual and went through the whole checklist with the exception of the ECM which I am going to bring to the local dealer to see if they can test right now.

I did try three different relays in place of the fuel cut relay but no voltage found at pump unless I remove relay and put in a jumper.
    Then I get 12.5v.
