I got my VFR up to 185 before...then I woke up!

We might need to explore the top speed of the 6th Gen VFR and get some concrete numbers :wink:

Not sure, I'd say 130's is the hightest I've had it. It had more, but I'd need quite a bit of space to get those last few out of her

I still can't stop thinking of that kid on the 250. I paced him on the hwy at 95mph or so while we were heading to the twisties. I was waiting for the piston to blow right out of it and nail him in the nuts.

Hey Chris / Kev and anyone else....... I'm headed to the Porsche Club Race at Lime Rock this Saturday. I'll be leaving around 0900hrs from my house. If anybody wants to join give me a call 860 849-3421, I'll check back here for any PMs or posts as well. I'm just going up for the ride and to watch maybe meet my Uncle from NJ there on his K1300. Ride is approx. 1hr 15min admission is free just sign the waiver on the way in lots of great fast Porsches and amatuer racers. Good stuff! Should be 70 deg and partly sunny good day for a ride.

 

Sounds awesome man, I'd love to head up there. Let me run it by the boss to make sure I'm in the clear and I'll touch base with you. I'll shoot Kevin a text too to make sure he sees this. Maybe some others can chime in too and we can get a group of us to go.

You're not going to bring the Porsche though? She's going to be jealous if you go to the track and leave her behind lol

 

That does sound sweet! I hate to turn down the first call to ride this year but I'm scheduled to do the "Ronnies Ride" on Sunday and can't do both.
Sucks because the weather is supposed to be nice on Saturday and rain on Sunday.
We need to start organizing some rides for this year.

I had the ole girl at Lime Rock last week but I had technical failure that will have me sidelined until Watkins Glen in June :-(

Yesterday's ride was great all around!! Perfect weather and one of my favorite destinations!! Lime Rock Park for the 2010 Porsche Club race. My uncle and cousin met Chris and myself out there on their BMW K1300 and Ducati 848 respectively. Lunch at Toymakers in Falls Village, a popular biker destination only 6 miles from the track. I can't wait for the next ride. Maybe out to the Vanilla Bean for Lunch and some NE CT country roads?!?!

 

You didn't happen to pass by the reservoir in Barkhamsted did you? Saw a RWB and a Red VFR on Saturday around 10am I think.

 

Hell yeah we did! We should have stopped but I had to make it home to meet someone. Keep in touch and join us on our next ride.
