    Hello!!!

To the guys & gals who know which brand of motorcycle to own! I don't have a VFR yet, but own a 01 Blackbird US model. VFR is next on the list, a lot more comfy than my Bird!

Trying to get my Bird better on the longer runs. Therefore if any of you have a set of VFR VTEC bars or VFR800 2002 or newer bars that you would like to sell or know anyone who does, I would appreciate if you would give me a shout! I feel like I am reaching for my front axle when grabbing my bars!:frown:

Glad to be connected with your group!!!

Thanks to all and Ride Safe!!!

I am in the big town of Federalsburg on the Eastern Shore! It's about 10 miles from the Delaware, which I am originally from, Seaford, DE.

Thanks for asking. Starting to get a little to cool for riding, although I did wrap up and take a spin today!

    Ride Safe,

I have looked at the Heli's. I just like the original look of the VFR bars more I believe.

    Thanks & Ride Safe,

Redbird, welcome to the group. Wealth o' info here, even if you are not yet strapped onto a VFR.

BTW, I was born and raised in MD s. Prior to becoming an Army guy, I lived in Frederick, or "Fredneck" as many call it.

Man, I love the eastern shore. Spent many summer and fall vacations with my parents at Bethany Beach (Sea Colony). My aunt lives in the Centerville area. Some real nice riding roads over there...

welcome to the board. a friend of mine that rides a VFR says the blackbird feels like a couch and he is going to tour on it rather than his VFR. it's funny how different peoples tastes are for comfort.

To all that responding knowing the area. We do have some really good roads to ride on here in Maryland and Delaware. My wife and I lived in the suburbs of St. Louis for about seven years. I just couldn't get used to riding our there. I enjoy riding on the flat roads better. There, even a half hour from downtown St. Louis I had to ride the other way a half hour if I wanted to wind it out in high gear without being on the Interstate.

Yes, we all have different tastes and comfort levels. I am only 5'8" therefore it's like I am almost laying on the tank holding the bars. Hoping to get a set of VFR bars, up and back a bit!

    To all, Safe Riding!!!
