    tank bag looks like baglux. its a european outfit maybe out of france or the uk. i gave up on my chase harper tanker after years and now use a tail bag cause i need to scrunch down under the screen for super sonic flights. cheers and good luck with the new steed.

    I really like the look of the wheels. The black paint seems so drab to me on my 98.

    Yours is in really good condition too!

    I met a guy last weekend that had a 99 with 160k miles on it. Still running good. I am going to try my best to wear mine out. ha!

    Tim, what you have is a leather Bagster tank cover and bag. These are high quality item$ made in France.

    I have been using these for several years on my '98 and in my opinion they are first class. (see my Photo Gallery)

    I noticed on their website that the 5th generation VFR ones may not be available anymore, so hang on to it.
