Shakopee checking in. Looks like I will have to do the Flood Run in September. I thought before it would be just a bunch of hogs from the images they used to advertise.

 

I live in Maple lake, just north of the cities on 55.

Flood run plans? I've never done it.

 

Me either. I was set to go do it yesterday after I saw your post but other tasks were looming and I viewed the photos from previous years on the flood run's website.

Anyone know of a good sportbike ride or want to set up a Viffer one?

Can't believe it is already mid October and freakin' snowing.

What happened to the time this summer. The past few months have given me very little riding opportunities, and I'm pretty sore about it.

Anyway, I'm still hoping to get out several more times this year. So, if there are any die hards. Let's do it yet when the weather turns for the better. We should have a couple more 60 degree days mixed in there somewhere before she turns cold for good.

 

I'm in Forest Lake, north of the Twin Cities where 35E and 35W merge. I will soon have an 03 and would love to organize a cruise this summer.

 

hey, i'm up here in Ramsey, near Anoka. Just about 20 miles northwest of Minneapolis I think. Right on Highway 10 near the Mississippi...
Sure is fun sitting here going crazy with cabin fever and not being able to ride!
I have a Kawasaki 500 but I am looking at buying a VFR before spring.
So i can still go on rides regardless if the Viffers don't mind waiting for me!

 

I uncovered the VFR for the first time since mid October. Looks good. Nice and clean, ready to ride! We are getting close! There's still a lot of sand on the roads and there is massive ice dam in the street in front of my garage so once we get a little bit more sun and warmth and a rain, I'm hitting the road.

 

Cool, hey, in the meantime since my last post, i did buy a new 2007 BWR Anniv Edition, so yeah i am all ready to go!

 

OK, this year my parenting schedule is much better and I'll be able to do many more weekend rides (on my kidfree weekends). Last year, we had this crazy afternoon swap on Saturdays and it just ruined pretty much any chance of riding on Saturdays 'cause I'd be leary of not getting back in time.

So, this year, let's make it happen more often. Would love to get some rides going!

Im here in St.paul over the high bridge. anyone wanna ride for say longer than an hour. All my freinds ride either r6-r1 or cbrs and cant handle more than an hour of riding.

 

Yeah, I like to ride all day. Went last Sunday with a 900RR, a ZX-10r, and a Monster SR4. 360 miles in all down in Alphabet soup - SW Wisconsin. Left at 9:00 am and back at 6:00 pm.

Would love to meet up for extended rides!

Hey there i grew up in forest lake, went to FL high. I also want to organize a cruise. No pussy cruisen im thinking about 500 miles.camping?

 

Sounds great! I'm set up with Givi Hardcases and would love to do some Motorcycle camping. Looking to do a 3 day trip around Lake Superior sometime later this year!

 

i'm in for sure, i am pretty sure i can do 500 miles! gotta stop and get gas at 200 anyway right???
i am planning a test run to spooner and siren wisconsin in may, also milwaukee at the end of june. but in between i could ride with you guys.

 

Camping this weekend (04/30 to 05/02/2010).

I'm looking to go motorcycle camping this weekend. Probably just Saturday night, but may do Friday as well depending on the weather. I have Givi hardcases and can carry a good deal if you need additional storage...

Destination unknown, but possibly end up at a campsite down in the Winona or LaCrosse area for overnight. Run through alphabet soup on the way down???

Anybody interested? Wanna join?
