3rd Gen Centerstand Pics Needed

    I need pics of the how the centerstand bolts to the frame of a 3rd Gen. Can anyone help??

    From Haynes: The stand is retained by a pivot shaft that is secured by a cotter pin (split pin) and washer. Pics are enclosed. Hope that it helps.

    The centerstand is already attached to the black steel brace. I need to see how this steel brace mounts to the frame on the left hand side.

    I thought that is how it went but my right opening has a bolt that is threaded through and tightened from behind. I think this is only holding a small mounting bracket that the lower metal shield attaches to. So does the center stand mount from behind the two holes in your pic or on the outside of the two holes? The reason I am asking is because the polished opening on the right hand side is not flush with the other opening to the left from the front so I assume it goes behind?

    centerstand bracket sits on the inside. You wouldn't see the bracket. The bolts run thru the holes in the frame and thread into the center stand bracket. Maybe that metal thing you have is something someone fabricated after removing the centerstand?
