I am thinking of purchasig the MotoPak GTS-60 saddlebags for my 06. Does anyone have these bags with a custome exhaust? Do you need to put heat tape for the heat from the pipes on the back of the bags? Thanks for the feedback.

I am looking into the Leo Vince EVO II slip ons.

    Works Great

I installed the GTS-90's saddle, the GT-Tail and also the Leo Vince SBK exhaust on my 04. I purchased the bags the day before a 3k mile road trip and they worked pretty well. The luggage comes with a 1/4" thick padding that rides between the bags and the exhaust which did a great job keeping the heat down in the bags. The only visual problem I could see after the ride was that the padding rubbed against my exhaust and made a little shiny mark on the pipes (to me it is no big deal though). All in all I was really satisfied. The directions for attaching the bags was pretty vague I thought but they supply enough quick connect plastic connections so with a little thought you will get them nice and taught.. Not sure about the 60's but the 90's have a crap load of storage in them!!
sorry this was long I am new at this. I have pics if you would like too
