Hello, I'm new to the forum, thinking about a RWB 2007 love the retro look. Have dealers been holding steady at the $6995 A few I have talked to are around $7600. Very willing to buy new off Ebay and just ride the bike back hme if need be.

Even at $6995, some dealers are still charging processing fees, shipping, etc. Have them break it down for you. Even so, it is a great price. Good luck and let us know how your purchase progresses.

Doug C, also a new member, just went through this. According to him the online prices have come up to the roughly $7500 that you're seeing. The explanation he received from the sales dept. at that Cherry Hills NJ dealership, the same dealership that's all over ebay with the 07's, was that prices have come up due to increased demand now that it's riding season. Take the dealerships statement for whatever you will, horseshit or otherwise, the bottom line is that even $7600 is literally a once in a lifetime deal for a new, with warranty, VFR . If you're looking at an '07 with ABS for $7600 than don't fret, they've been selling for that since this whole blow out thing started. I don't know for sure, but it looks like the only reason Gama1 here went with the used bike is because he found a hell of deal. If you're lucky enough to find something like he did than do it for sure. That said, I wouldn't loose a second of sleep on spending $7600 either.

If it's $7600 out the door with all fees and taxes included then go for it. If they still try to tack on destination, taxes, registration and all that mess then look for another deal somewhere else. Good luck! :thumb:

The dealers around Indianapolis were much higher. Some were 8 thousand plus for a non ABS. The dealer I bought my used bike from had a new one for $7,399 (Plus Tax) out the door. They are Anderson Sales and Service in Madison Indiana. I had an outstanding expirience with them.

was that the one with around 1700 miles on it? If so I test rode that one and that is what has started all this madness. I have been a happy owner of a harley since 1992 when I bought mine FXDC new. Sold my Seca turbo after a few years of owning both. Then last year somebody offers to let me ride their habausa (sp?) and FJR1300. I had no idea how much improved bikes had become. I have always liked the v4, my father bought a 84 Sabre (?) and when the interceptor came out I wanted one bad but alas it never happened. Then I saw the RWB 2007 in the dealer and well here I am trying to justify 2 bikes.
