Im debating trying to integrate some VF parts on my other Honda and just wondering what the fork diameter is. I would like to upgrade the braking on my Honda CB to match that of my Interceptor but im not sure about the fork diameter on the VF.

The diameter of the stock VF750 forks are 39mm. I hope this helps!

I think this is the first time I've heard of anyone wanting to use the VF's brakes as an upgrade. Your CB brakes must be really bad!

The CB has a single disk brake up front and if i recall right it has a drum in the rear while the VF has dual disks up front and single disk in the rear.. However with the larger diameter of the VF forks the only way i can make it work is if i swap over a VF triple tree as well with changing the steering stems if needed..for all i know i may be able to just bolt it on too...gotta look more into it during the winter while im wrenching on the CB.

If you run into any hiccups feel free to let me know. I do a lot of swaps like this (none on a bike this old though) and can help steer you in the right direction.

oooo...just one bad pun in that one lol...but anyways i found out the early Goldwing front end bolts straight up to the CB so thats a bonus..now i can focus on building the CB right! And in the mean time enjoy riding the VF and honing my riding skills.
