Solo seat cover came in, broken tab in rear, but color matches well and got it cheap on craigslist - 20$

the big happy - red turn signals (eBay Australia) like the way it ties the looks together and haven't seen them before

finally fab'd up a quick/dirty inspection sticker mount (clear plastic sheet superglued to a reflector mount)

Relocated cane holder (was mounted to grab rails but lost those with the solo seat) to the opposite side reflector mount, small cup mounted up under fender to hold the tip

+1 on the cane holder! Does it have one of those long stiletto type blades inside?

Nice work. The lights were used on the 3rd Gens. Go a step further and get some front turn signal sockets and wire them into the rear so you can have full running lights.

I am thinking about doing this mod, it looks pretty easy, just take the back apart and cut the mud guard. Anything I need to look out for before I start this mod?

Which Mod? If you mean to cut your mud flap off you dont need to emove anything just leave the portion where the plate mounts and die grind away...

Or if you want the undertail mod well thats a bit more work.
